Prof Dr Andrew Lawrence-King

is Senior Visiting Research Fellow

at the University of Western Australia, Perth.



He is investigating Early Opera and Historical Action

for the Australian Research Council's

Centre of Excellence for the History of Emotions

(Europe 1100-1800).



Prof Lawrence-King teaches at the

Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London;

 

and at the Royal Danish Conservatory of Music, Copenhagen.

 

Andrew also directs the International Baroque Opera Studio, which stages historical-action performances of early operas with young professionals and advanced students.
